Seating at The Pit (University Arena)
The Pit is the legendary home arena of UNM Lobo basketball, located at 1155 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The sunken arena, built 37 feet below ground level, creates one of the most electric atmospheres in college sports. Capacity is 15,411, expandable to 18,018 with standing room.
- Lower Bowl: Close-to-the-action seating surrounding the court on the main floor level
- Upper Deck: Cantilevered 6-row deck with a seating capacity of 2,300 above the lower bowl
- Club/Suite Level: US Bank Club level with plush leather seats and complimentary concessions
- ADA Seating: Accessible seating available throughout the arena
The Pit was ranked #13 on Sports Illustrated's Top-20 Sports Venues of the Century and has hosted over 13 million fans since opening in 1966.
Parking at The Pit
The Pit is located on the UNM campus and is surrounded by multiple parking lots. UNM is a cashless venue — please bring a debit or credit card.
- Pit West Lot: Adjacent to The Pit, available for single-game purchase
- T-Lot Shuttle: Park at University & Lomas and take a round-trip shuttle for $5/person; runs 1 hour before and after events
- Stadium East Lot: Near University Stadium, accessible from University Blvd
- Lobo Club Pass Lots: Reserved for season pass holders surrounding the venue
Rideshare drop-off and pickup is available in Lot A of Isotopes Park off Avenida César Chávez. The nearest bus stop is University @ Avenida Cesar Chavez, a 1-minute walk from The Pit.

- Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Event Days: Opens 4 hours prior to event start
- Bookstore Ticket Office Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10 AM–6 PM; Saturday 10 AM–4 PM
Tickets are available online at golobos.com, by phone, or in person at either ticket office location. Will Call opens 3 hours before events at Gate 8 of University Stadium. Photo ID required for will call pickup.
